Nathalie grew-up on the Western Slope of Colorado, and lived in Boulder, CO, for the last 22 years. A Texas-Ex, she moved to Chicago in the early 90s and found herself working for the great Charlie Trotter where it was instilled in her, “It’s not what you do for people, it’s how you make them feel.”
She began her career in the kitchen, was a pastry chef for a number of years, and then moved to the front-of-the-house and began the long journey of becoming a Sommelier. She achieved Level III status in 2015. After 25+ years in restaurants, she moved to the club side of the industry. Nathalie managed a prestigious club in Boulder, before she moved to Carlsbad in 2020 to become the GM at Riverside.
When not talking wine or juggling any number of Club projects, she can be found on the golf course, swimming, or in the Pilates studio. She has a daughter who is studying to become a tailor and two cats.
